I’m just back from the New England shows which were a lot of fun. Ben Lord came with me and played drums and we had a blast. Thanks to all that came out.
I’m excited to announce that on July 13th, The Village Label will be reissuing a remixed/remastered version of my first solo record, “Here’s to Outliving Me”! It’ll be available everywhere on the 13th.
To celebrate, I’m going to play a bunch of shows in July! I’m hitting the road July 14th and playing shows until the 31st, playing a lot of the towns I hit in June (Pittsburgh, Columbus, Chicago, Champaign, etc). I’ll see you on the road!
All dates below:
I’m playing a few solo shows in Vermont this weekend, April 23 – 25! I haven’t been back to Vermont since forever and I’m really looking forward to it.

These are going to be fun shows, I’m really looking forward to them. Come out, come out!
Stay tuned, many more shows to be announced soon.
I decided to change the name of this tour from “So Low, Solo” to “So Snow, Snow”. There has yet to be a day without snow coming down and today was no different. I woke up to big light snowflakes today. Not much, but still, it’s snowing.
The photo with this post was taken right after getting off the highway Wednesday, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It’s a photo of the highway from my hotel window. That dark line in the middle is the highway median divider wall. That was some crazy driving.
Moments after this photo was taken, a cop told me that all major highways were closed and I had to get off the highway at the next exit 10 miles down the road. That snowplow and dark road you see in the picture stopped here at this jack knifed truck and so it was a long slow drive trying to get to the next exit and find a hotel.
I hate to cancel a show, but it is physically impossible to get to Pittsburgh for the show at Howlers tonight. I’m bummed as I was really looking forward to the show. They’re telling me tomorrow will be clearer, so I’m hunkered down in Bethlehem, PA, playing guitar and waiting this storm out. I’ll kick it back up again tomorrow in Columbus at The Treehouse!
I’m hitting the road starting February 10th. All dates can be found on the TOURS page or below. I have some new songs I’ll be playing and and other surprises, plus these completely solo tours don’t happen too often so definitely come out when I’m in your town! Here’s a little pre-tour interview I did with Katie Darby, check it out HERE. We’ll see you out on the road!
Holy mole, tour starts in two weeks! I’m excited to get back on the road. February is all solo shows, from here to Des Moines and down to the Carolinas. I’ve got some special secrets I’ll be doing along the way so definitely come on out.
Sign up for the email list to stay tuned in on what’s going on. There’s a place to sign up in the upper right hand corner of this site. Ask anyone on it, I don’t send too many updates…
All dates after the jump on this post or on the TOURS page.
I’m hitting the road solo in February! Just me, a guitar and some harmonicas in a car, thus the name of this tour “So Low, Solo”. I’m excited to get back out there. I’ll be playing some of towns that I played on the last tour with the band with a bunch of new ones thrown in. Check out the tours page for all dates and details!
I am adding dates all the time, so please check back often if you do not see your town listed. If you’d like to help get the word out in your town or book a show, please send an email to info (AT) dougkeith.com with what you’re thinking and we’ll be in touch. Looking forward to seeing you all in February!
Thanks, Doug
