Holy holy, my new record is recorded and done. I cannot thank the people who helped make it come to life enough. I’ll share who they all are soon, but just know that it was a dream crew of people. I’m beyond thankful and cannot wait to get it out into the world.

Anyone who knows me knows that one of my absolute favorite records that came out in 2011 is Little Scream’s album The Golden Record (in fact, I am listening to it while I type this). So it is with the absolute utmost pleasure that I tell you that I am going to be playing a few shows with them at the end of November on the east coast! I’ll be playing solo. It’s gonna rule.

This coming Monday, September 26th at Mercury Lounge, I’ll be opening for Tim Rogers who fronts the band You Am I. I’m really excited for this show, I’ll be playing a bunch of new songs!

Wow! It has been a minute since I’ve updated my site or talked about any shows I’m doing! I’ve been busy on the road this year playing in Sharon Van Etten’s band and then when i’m home I’ve been writing my new record. I’ll be recording a new in January (more info on that to come soon). The reissue of my remixed/remastered 2009 record, Here’s to Outliving Me, comes out next Tuesday, July 13th! It’ll be available everywhere in CD and digital format, there are some bonus tracks free with both options! Get a copy, get a copy!
To celebrate, I’m doing a last minute good time hometown show. The good people at The Mercury Lounge had an opening on the 13th and asked if I wanted to play it. I’m going to be doing a smaller version of my usual band and good friends. You should come, it’s going to be an absolute blast and I’ll be playing at least two brand new songs! I’m playing right about 8 pm!
In addition to all of that, the good folks at WHUS in Storrs, CT have asked me to come up and take over the station from noon to 3 pm EST this Saturday, July 10th! You can listen in live right HERE!
I’m going to be playing live, playing songs I like, talking about what I’m into and all sorts of other cool stuff, so tune in, it’s going to be a really fun show!
I’m just back from the New England shows which were a lot of fun. Ben Lord came with me and played drums and we had a blast. Thanks to all that came out.
I’m excited to announce that on July 13th, The Village Label will be reissuing a remixed/remastered version of my first solo record, “Here’s to Outliving Me”! It’ll be available everywhere on the 13th.
