I’m going to be opening for Brazos as part of their residency at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn to celebrate the release of their new record Saltwater on Dead Oceans. I’ll be playing with a band for the first time in waaaay too long and I’m really looking forward to it.

I’m going to be playing a solo show on May 9th at Rock Shop in Brooklyn, NY. Also playing this night is my good friend and fellow Sharon Van Etten band member, Heather Woods Broderick as well as Amanda Shires. I’ll also be playing bass in Heather’s band this night. I’m getting ready to record a new record (and tour like crazy in SVE’s band) so this will be my last solo show for a while. You all should come out for it, will be a very fun one!

Anyone who knows me knows that one of my absolute favorite records that came out in 2011 is Little Scream’s album The Golden Record (in fact, I am listening to it while I type this). So it is with the absolute utmost pleasure that I tell you that I am going to be playing a few shows with them at the end of November on the east coast! I’ll be playing solo. It’s gonna rule.

This coming Monday, September 26th at Mercury Lounge, I’ll be opening for Tim Rogers who fronts the band You Am I. I’m really excited for this show, I’ll be playing a bunch of new songs!

Wow! It has been a minute since I’ve updated my site or talked about any shows I’m doing! I’ve been busy on the road this year playing in Sharon Van Etten’s band and then when i’m home I’ve been writing my new record. I’ll be recording a new in January (more info on that to come soon). Some great things coming up just before I head out on tour!
The reissue of my remixed/remastered 2009 record, Here’s to Outliving Me, comes out next Tuesday, July 13th! It’ll be available everywhere in CD and digital format, there are some bonus tracks free with both options! Get a copy, get a copy!
To celebrate, I’m doing a last minute good time hometown show. The good people at The Mercury Lounge had an opening on the 13th and asked if I wanted to play it. I’m going to be doing a smaller version of my usual band and good friends. You should come, it’s going to be an absolute blast and I’ll be playing at least two brand new songs! I’m playing right about 8 pm!

In addition to all of that, the good folks at WHUS in Storrs, CT have asked me to come up and take over the station from noon to 3 pm EST this Saturday, July 10th! You can listen in live right HERE!
I’m going to be playing live, playing songs I like, talking about what I’m into and all sorts of other cool stuff, so tune in, it’s going to be a really fun show!

The Treehouse was closed due to a natural disaster so the show has been moved to The Shrunken Head!
